About Shopify: Sell. Run a business.
The order notification sound is the point of this app. Shopify runs millions of businesses in more than 175 countries, and this is the mobile seller center: your store's products, inventory, orders, customers, and sales, managed from the phone in your pocket.
Starting out needs no code. You add products with photos, pricing, and variants, arrange them into collections, set up a domain, and the store is live. Selling is not limited to that storefront, either: the same catalog syncs to in-person sales through Shopify POS, social feeds, marketplaces, and even AI chats, with stock and orders kept consistent across all of them.
Day to day, it is operations in a few taps: fulfill, refund, or return an order, track a shipment, scan a barcode to fix inventory, and get pinged the moment a new order lands. Payments, payouts, and cash flow sit in the same view, and marketing tools — campaigns, promotions, discounts — run alongside real-time analytics showing what is actually selling.
Sidekick, Shopify's built-in AI, helps draft and decide, and thousands of add-on apps extend the store into things like dropshipping, where a supplier ships each order for you. It starts with a free trial before the paid plans kick in, and it scales from a first-time seller to a multi-location brand without changing apps.
