Wuthering Waves

Wuthering Waves opens with Rover waking from slumber into a world that has already been broken and rebuilt. Civilization on Solaris-3 is rising again after the Lament, a disaster that left creations and living beings static in the silence of the Ebb Tide. Your journey is to reclaim lost memories, meet companions, face enemies, gain new powers and uncover hidden truths along the way.

Exploration is given a lot of room. The game stresses freedom in the overworld, without stamina limits holding back movement, and you can dash, parkour on walls, take flight, or ride a high-mobility expedition motorbike across the map. That range of movement matters because the world is meant to be crossed and revisited, not just walked through on a single marked path.

Combat is smooth and fast-paced, built around reading enemy attacks and answering them at the right moment. Extreme Evasion, Dodge Counter, Echo Skills and quick-time mechanisms give you tools for both defense and counterattack, so a fight can turn on a well-timed dodge as much as on raw power. Resonators add another layer: each brings different abilities and a unique Forte, and their personalities shape the party you take into battle.

Story, sound and animation are presented as a single package, with cinematic narratives and rich music framing the quest. The result is a large action RPG that asks you to keep moving, keep learning new companions, and keep piecing together what happened to Rover and to the world around them.
