About WakeBox
WakeBox is an alarm clock that minds its own business. It does one job — waking you at the time you set — and keeps the interface as plain as the promise: set an alarm, pick which days it repeats, and go to sleep. No feeds, no extras demanding attention.
When the alarm fires, it takes over properly: a clear, full-screen alert appears even on the lock screen, backed by sound and vibration, so a wake-up is hard to sleep through or dismiss by accident. Alarms are entirely yours — each one triggers only at the time and schedule you configured, and managing them happens from a clean list made for groggy users.
The one extra is optional email access through a built-in web view, signed in with secure web authentication. The listing is careful about the relationship: the email side is secondary and doesn't interfere with alarms, which keep working the same whether or not you ever open it. Think of it as a nightstand convenience, not the point of the app.
Who needs a separate alarm app when every phone ships with one? People whose stock clock has failed them, or who want their alarms isolated in something single-purpose and predictable. WakeBox's whole personality is dependability with minimal distractions — an alarm that behaves like an appliance, which is exactly what you want at 6 a.m.
