About Stack
One tap builds the tower; one bad tap ruins it. In Stack, each new block slides in from the side, gliding back and forth above your tower, and tapping drops it where it hovers. Whatever hangs over the edge is sliced away and tumbles into the void — so every imperfect drop makes the next one harder, and your skyscraper slowly narrows toward its inevitable end.
The counterweight is perfection. Land a block exactly flush and the tower forgives you; string perfect drops together and the block can even grow back some width, buying room for the climb ahead. Meanwhile the slide gets faster, the margin thinner, and a total miss ends the run on the spot. It is a game about rhythm disguised as a game about architecture.
Ketchapp has since given the classic a refresh: smoother controls, a cleaner interface, and a new Stack City mode alongside the original endless climb. Daily missions hand out goals beyond your best score, exclusive skins let a good tower look the part, and cloud saves carry your records between devices.
There's nothing to memorize and no way to play it wrong except impatiently. Stack remains a masterclass in one-more-try design — thirty seconds of calm focus at a time, ending, as all towers do, in a collapse you'll immediately want to avenge.
