About Seine Fishing

A seine net is a wall of mesh you drag through water, and this little game builds its whole interaction around drawing one. Touch the post on the near bank, pull a line out across the river in whatever shape you like — a tight pocket hugging your bank, or a greedy arc reaching for the far side — then carry it to the second post and let go. The net closes and hauls in everything trapped inside.

The tension is literal. Fish drift downriver at their own pace, nothing is timed, and you can sit on the post waiting for a school to line up before committing. But every fish in the mesh consumes your spare net length, and greed has a physics bill: overload a stretched line and it snaps, sparks and all, spilling the whole catch back into the river.

Catches are recorded in a collection book that fills species by species, in rising value: mackerel and salmon early, koi carp and pufferfish as you grow, swordfish at the book's far end, and a rare golden fish that pays ten times its weight when it surfaces. Coins go on exactly three upgrades — a longer net, a tougher net, and more fish in the river.

Housekeeping is gentle: no account, with your book and coins kept on the device. The honest warning is the reception — 2.8 stars at 10K+ downloads makes this the weaker of developer KAYAC's two entries in this batch, so something about it plainly divides players. As an idea, though, it's the most original fishing mechanic in this catalog: you don't cast the net, you draw it.
