About Angry Birds 2
The pigs are still stealing eggs, and the birds are still not over it. Angry Birds 2 keeps the formula that took over the world — load a bird into a slingshot, pull back, and send it crashing into whatever wobbly tower the pigs have built — then layers a lot more game on top of it.
The biggest change is choice. Instead of a fixed order, you pick which bird flies next, and each one has its own power: speed bursts, explosions, splitting into three, and so on. Levels run across several stages, so a good run needs a small plan, not just a good aim. Feathers level up your flock and raise their scoring power, and Boss Pigs turn up regularly to soak up your best shots.
Around the main campaign there is plenty going on. Daily challenges pay out quick rewards, the Arena pits your scores against other players, and clans let you team up with friends for group events. There are silly hats to collect, purely for the joy of seeing a bird in a cowboy hat, plus the Mighty Eagle's Bootcamp if you want sterner tests and the coins that come with them.
It is free to play with optional in-app purchases, bright and funny in the way the series has always been, and some features work offline while others need a connection. Hundreds of levels are already in, with more added in updates. If you played the original until your thumbs hurt, this is that game grown up: bigger, sillier, and harder to put down.
