About Cut the Rope
A box arrives at your door, and inside it is a small green monster with one interest in life. Om Nom wants candy — specifically the piece dangling from ropes just out of reach — and your entire job is gravity management: swipe to cut, and let physics deliver dessert. It sounds like nothing. It is one of the most copied puzzle designs ever made.
Each level is a tiny machine. The candy hangs, swings, and rolls exactly as real physics says it should, so the puzzle is never about guessing — it's about seeing. Cut this rope first and the candy arcs wide; cut that one and it drops straight. New ideas arrive one at a time — bubbles that float the candy upward, air cushions that push it sideways — and then start combining into contraptions that take real thought to disarm.
Levels come packed in themed boxes, hundreds of them, each box with its own look and its own new trick to teach you. The first box is a tutorial in disguise; the later ones assume you've mastered everything before and start stacking mechanics until a single level needs timing, order, and a small act of faith.
It plays fully offline, at whatever pace you like, and it's free with optional purchases — ads can be removed through a subscription, a special offer, or Play Pass. ZeptoLab built the template half the mobile puzzle genre still follows: one finger, one idea, one very motivated monster.
