You recruit and command squads of Nikkes, each with her own weapon class, combat specialty, and personality that the game takes surprisingly seriously. Battles play out as cover shooting with simple controls: your squad fires from behind cover, you aim the big shots, and Burst Skills — timed in sequence across the team — turn messy fights into short, loud ones.
