Boom Beach: War Strategy Game

"Come with a plan or leave in defeat" is the game's own warning, and it is honest. Boom Beach is Supercell's island-hopping strategy game: a tropical archipelago has been overrun by the Blackguard, a private army enslaving islanders, and your job is to take the beaches back one landing at a time, freeing villages as you push across the map.

Every attack starts with a scout. You study the enemy base — where the boom cannons sit, which beach is soft — then land your troops from landing craft and support them from your gunboat with artillery, flares, and smoke. Troops largely steer themselves, so the strategy is in the landing: composition, timing, and the moment to redirect a push with a flare before it walks into a minefield.

Between battles you build. Your own base needs the same care you exploit in others — defenses placed to make attackers pay for every meter — because real players raid you back for resources. Liberated islands pay tribute, the archipelago keeps opening, and mysterious Life Crystals scattered through it feed powers that are best discovered by playing.

The co-op layer is the Task Force: join other players and pool attacks in operations against huge Blackguard fortresses no single army cracks alone, plus boss encounters that anchor the campaign. It is free to play with the usual optional purchases and needs a network connection. Supercell's polish is all over it — short battles, long strategy, and a beach always worth one more landing.
